How To Convert PNG Files To SVG

This short article will tell you how to convert your PNG files to SVG format. Let's jump in.

1. Open your downloads folder then locate the folder that holds the files you've purchased.

2. Open the files folder then select the Png file

3. Move the PNG file from the files folder to the top level of your downloads folder.

3. Open a PNG to SVG converter. We'll use Convertio.co for this example.

5. In Convertio select the CHOOSE FILES button then select the PNG file you want to convert to SVG. In this case, it is the PNG file that you moved to the top level of your downloads folder in step 3.

6. In Convertio next to the file name you want to convert, select SVG from the drop down menu.

6. Select CONVERT. it will take a few seconds or more for Convertio to convert the PNG file to a SVG file

8. Once the conversion is complete, select DOWNLOAD. The converted file will be downloaded into your downloads folder. The original filename will be used, but the new file extension will be .SVG.

That’s it. You can now upload the new .SVG file to whatever software you use to manipulate your other SVG files.
